Parker Oaks Activity Page

At newly remodeled Parker Oaks, our activity department strives to meet the social needs of our residents as well as the emotional, physical and spiritual needs.  We have weekly church services and Bible study.  The Parker Oaks staff is involved in the daily life of every department allowing our residents to enjoy a variety of activities such as baking, bingo, trivia, reminisce group, music programs, singalongs, current events, and exercise group.  Special activities are also offered for holiday and birthday parties.  Family and friends are always welcome to join in the fun!  Following is a list of what our residents enjoy daily.


7:30 Morning Stretch


10:30 Morning Activity such as:  Craft, Baking, Bingo, Hand Massages/Manicures, Board Games, and Trivia

2:15 Social Hour with Reminiscing Topics such as:  Worst Winter Storm, Hottest Summer, First Love, etc.

3:30 Afternoon Activity such as Bible Study, Bingo and Chapel



On Wednesday at 9:00 am, we offer a shopping trip for residents to purchase necessities.



On Saturdays, we offer a Movie Night at 6:00pm in place of the Afternoon Activity.


On Sundays, we offer a Sunday Service at 3:30pm in place of the Afternoon Activity.


Monthly Resident Birthday Party held down at the Dining Room.



On Special Holidays, we try to coordinate our Activities to match the special day.
